Loading Boards
| Framing or hooping boards are used to speed up the process of framing garments |
The standard framing board fits round frames from 9cm to 21cm and is used for mixed small runs |
 |
The individual framing boards come in many sizes for different
frames. The small boards are used for getting up sleeves and
small areas. The 15cm size is useful for framing the back of a
cap. |
The shaped framing board is for longer runs of 20 or more. There is no need to mark the position of the embroidery on the garment. |
1 |
Stick the shape to the board with double sided tape in the correct position for the embroidery. |
2 |
Place the outer frame in the shape and anchor the backing material with double sided tape |
3 |
Slip and centre the garment over the board |
4 |
Press the frame |
5 |
Gather up the garment and remove the frame |
6 |
The garment is the correct way round to load into the machine through the largest opening |
